In VoidBubble, players control a small bubble black hole that grows larger by consuming everything in its path. My role in this project was to develop the art aesthetic and set the visual direction for the game. I created character sheets and gameplay mockups, focusing on how the game could appeal to a mid-aged female audience. This involved exploring visual styles that are both engaging and accessible, while still capturing the quirky, absorbing nature of the gameplay.
Through this process, I aimed to guide the team with a cohesive visual approach that enhances the game’s unique mechanics and broadens its appeal. Working on VoidBubble was an exciting opportunity to blend creative vision with targeted design strategies.
